Hollywood-based Spinning Owls Productions LLC was established in 2011 by mother-daughter team Dorothy O. Wise and J. Zakira Wise. The duo combines their more than 30 years of business experience and young, creative film talent to produce entertaining films with memorable characters, stunning visuals and strong storylines that stimulate an audience's curiosity, intellect and emotions - stories that you will remember.
In 2011, Spinning Owls released two award-winning short films, Through The Door and To Beauty, which have been featured at Festivals worldwide. In 2012, Spinning Owls co-produced its first feature-length film, Run, a fast-paced, action-packed, coming-of-age crime thriller filmed in native 3D about 16-year-old, street-smart Daniel who utilizes “parkour” or free-running to commit crimes.
